Sounds like she needs to be really ready to go somewhere else until she works out her issues.

Maybe she needs a little opposition -- i.e. "I'm not going to schedule any more dates with you because you always cancel at the last minute. When you get over yourself/ get your head screwed on straight/ suck it up and you're ready to ride, call me. Not before."
