That horse wanted to get his head down and buck real bad. I'm surprised that she stayed on as long as she did, but boy was she dumb to keep going. It looks like his saddle wasn't fitting right. The pad was a bit bunched on one side, and in a couple of shots, I could have sworn that I saw the cantle end really moving up and down off of his back.

Now that you mention that about the saddle, wasn't the video called "saddle troubles" or something like that? I bet you're right on the saddle fit.

I rode Bud again yesterday with my bareback pad and things went even better than the day before. We did walk/trot/canter (I forgot how rough riding Bud is, ouch) and went for a short trail ride on my back trails. He was a perfect gentlemen, even with the wind blowing a gale. The only thing he did that bothered me was when he caught site of the barn on the way back, he broke into a trot. He's never been barn sour so that was a surprise. I checked him back into a walk and he stayed in it, although walking very fast.
