I called back. I was going to record it but they were open. There is nothing funny about threats but I thought a voice message was. It was like we are closed for lunch or something.

Yeah, that is kinda strange. Sorta like leaving a message on your home answering machine that says "Sorry we can't come to the phone right now because there's a serial killer with an ax down stairs and we have to be quiet."

But then again, I guess leaving the message about the exact nature of the problem might keep people from calling, getting no answer, and then just deciding to go on down there and possibly contribute to the problem by adding to the crowd of onlookers that inevitably appears when stuff like that happens.
