LOL
Yikes!
LOL, well that is your right, but when you make a comment like that here, or anywhere for that matter, you are probably going to get opinions back that state some don't think that is very smart:) I'd be one of them.
Animals are precious indeed, and so much depends on what the prognosis is IF you spend your whole wad....IMO, no cat is worth morgagaing the house, in fact no animal is. I'd have to have a 100% guarantee the animal is going to recover before I'd spend a large amount. And my large amount is probably a lot less then yours and depends on the animal...$50 on a cat, $100 on my dog, and maybe $500 on a horse....it take a heck of alot of selling by someone for me to spend more then this. Any more then that I'd have them put down, or if the problem wouldn't be a problem for someone else I'd sell them. Does that make me a bad person, and unresponsible pet owner,,,,no, makes me a good steward of my money.

I don't think it was inappropriate because of the reason I stated. As far as we know she does not know Hair. Makes a difference.

LOL!! I was looking for something like that but couldn't find it so I just had to make do with one of my own cats. Thanks!
Guess we have to agree to disagree too then. (chucking)
Her expression is priceless! I LOVE watching them when they get that way. I've got this big fleece mouse that has velcro in the bottom seam so you can open it up and fill it with catnip and it's just hysterical to watch the three of them play with that. One will have it and be rolling all over it and one of the others will reach in and hook it and steal it. They toss it up in the air and catch it and then get it under their back feet stomp it and sit on it. But mostly they just roll around on it. I end up having to take it away when it gets all slobbered on. Goofy nip-head cats!
When you are a steward of many needs, you can't blow your whole wad on one. We still have to feed the others.
And sometimes, with old age issues, it isn't just one thing, it's many and they kindof cascade one right on top of the other.
And, hubby and I have just been remembering, we need to do a farm call for the horses... mosquitos are out... they need their West Nile boosters. Hopefully they don't need teeth done this year, but we'll see. Bay might.
Change of subject:)
I didn't say anthing yesterday, but Julia called wanting to ride today. I told her yes, but it would only be for 30 minutes, she said that was fine would be here at 11.
Just called and canceled. The woman is certifiable:)

Gads.... What can you do?
All that HAS to be considered.
I'd still take the picture, and the cat, and go from there. If the cat is not uncomfortable, take him home. If it's close to where he will be suffering shortly, I have to say it, I'd go ahead now and let him go peacefully.
Becky
LOL..nothing with people who won't listen, and just live on drama:)
I was not rude, but I was pretty short, I hope she doesn't call again till she is really ready to go.
Becky
Good advice :~)
What if that's a half hour from now? :~\
LOL...
Becky
JEEEEEEZ! Some people just need to be slapped.
My husband and I went riding Saturday, thought I would post some pic's. This is Little River Canyon in NE Alabama (Desoto State Park)
The river was pretty swift in one part so the camera stayed in the pack and my hands on the reins. Cold and windy but a decent day.
LOL...well....I need to at least stop catering to her fears...that only has seemed to make them worse. It's time now for "either ride, or give it up" attitude on my part to her..IMO. The gentle easy encouragment hasn't worked.
Becky
Oooh - excellent pictures! :~)
