It's an absolutely fabulous video. We have seen it before but it's still good.

You might want to keep them up there a few more days. Some think we are going to get real cold again around Tuesday before this is over. All the horses at my stables are still in. The pastures are deep in mud.

That rescue fascinated me. I watched it several times and each time my "heart smiled"

Prayers for your friend, I hope she is successful in getting her transplant. One of the things I do when I renew my drivers license, is make sure the organ donor is checked. If some of my parts can help someone, they are welcome to them.

Great pictures of the horses. Looks sunny at least.

Well, hey - it's the thought that counts right? How is everything with you?

I am so happy you had some nice weather and was able to let the horses get "undressed" and have a good time. Very, very nice shots.

We got our shopping done. It took a lot longer than I wanted it to. We went to the mall, CiCi's pizza, Home Depot and Lowe's. No sooner then, we got home, started working and the power went out! Almost 3 hours wasted. It would have been nice to have that wall done, so there would have been a wood fire. Oh well, work harder tomorrow. I did buy a new vanity, medicine cabinet and cupboard for the wall. I should have bought that generator, I was looking at. :)

Thanks. She works and is buying her home so she doesn't qualify for a lot of programs. One the flip side, she doesn't make a lot of money, her insurance doesn't cover a lot of her medications and she also has horses - which get fed before she buys meds. Thankfully, her parents help her and live close enough - about an hour away - that they can be there for her.

You know, I know it's morbid, but my mom was soooo disappointed when she was told she had terminal cancer and no one would want her organs. She said "wouldn't I even be of use for some study or something? Can't I be a skeleton in a science class somewhere?" I guess all the science classes that want one already have one. She was really bummed. She was like that. :~)

Thank you. Yep, the sun has been in and out all day. Tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny all day :) Maybe that will give me the energy to do some house cleaning - I did nothing today.

How is the remodeling going?

Well, if I'd have read further, you answered my question. I hope tomorrow is a more productive day for you.

Talk to me about this. I'm not sure how it works. I know you have to raise the money for the surgery. I see fund raisers a lot. I thought the least stable got bumped up. They are now programs they have to be accepted by first? The poor are getting priority?

A link to make you smile.

Apparently, if she were rich or destitute she would have had a better chance. She's neither. She is selling her car and some other things to bank the money to prove that she can pay for the rejection drugs, etc. She still has her truck and will keep that. She has to have a complete physical now and exrays, etc. to show that she is still an good candidate.

God has seen her through a lot in the past nine years. I'm just praying that this time, she will be restored to health.
