"Great game!! Boise's winning play surely faked me out. Brilliant call."
The most brilliant call was the pass-and-lateral play. UO played the right defense - they kept the receivers in front of them, well short of the first down marker. BSU knew they'd play that defense and that UO would probably give them the short pass (it was 4th and 18). So BSU took what they gave them, 4-5 yards short of the first down, and the subsequent lateral was the element that no one expected.

The most brilliant call was the pass-and-lateral play.Read an article this morning about a discussion of that play after the game that went something like this:
Player...."We practice that play every week for a few minutes, it's a fun play".
Another player..."Yeah but it usually doesn't work at practice".
Offensive coordinator...."It never works at practice".

. . . and the subsequent lateral was the element that no one expected. If it wasn't for instant replay, I still wouldn't be sure what happened in the last quarter and OT.
I don't think I have ever spent that much time with my jaw on the floor.
A game I will always remember.
