You surely are correct on that!! Masterful play calling and execution.

Now, I see that Alabama supposedly is offering Saban mega-millions to come and coach the Tide. Seems to me Bama's AD ought to be on a plane to Boise to offer Chris Peterson a couple of million (Peterson's current contract is $500,000). While this is his first year as head coach, he's been running this offense for six years so he certainly has a track record.
Most creative play calling I've seen in years.

Any team hiring Saban is getting a money whore. He has no loyalty AT ALL. Just ask Michigan State. And LSU. And probably the Dolphins. If he goes to Bama and succeeds, he will be gone within 3 years to the highest bidding NFL team.

We (Arizona State) hired Dirk Koetter from Boise in 2000. He was known as an offensive guru, and we had some pretty exciting games with him as HC.

He was fired in November...apparently not PAC-10 HC material as he didn't win "enough" games. Seems the boosters didn't like him because he was shy and aloof and didn't do the backslapping that was expected of him.

I think there's a whole lot more to coaching than just X's and O's, unfortunately. Hopefully, Dennis Erickson knows the score (pardon the pun).
