I am a Colts fan and hey at least they are consistent. It seems every year I can count on them falling apart at the end of the season. I do remain optimistic that this could be our year.
The biggest reason why I like the Colts is the character of the team from the owner to the coaching staff and the entire team. They really are a good bunch of men. I know Jimmy Irsay has had his problems in the past but he has turned his life around too.
So, remain hopeful for your Cowboys.
My son and a couple of friends came to see Aikman/Irvin/Smith play the Colts a few years ago when James/Manning/Harrison were the "new triplets." Indy beat Dallas in that game, and pretty much signaled the end of the old Dallas greats.
We came back a couple of years later with the Quincy Carter Cowboys, and you destroyed us then, too.
You are right about Indy's class. However, I think in Dungy's case, he truly is bridesmaid material, and will not win. I think the current group has already missed their window of opportunity, and the D is looking worse every year, despite the sack monster Freeny.
