FReep, yes! This is the best discussion-forum software I've ever seen. I can't bear other sites' programming any more.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
Though as I've tried hard to get various site owners to consider it--they've always been dismissive. I think it's parochialism and denial. Most of us FREEPERS KNOW that navigating other sites compared to FR--EVEN THE BETTER SITES--IS A BIG PAIN.
A huge hassle comparatively.
As I understand it from Jim, it would take a lot of work for them to make a commercial version and then there would be a lot of maintenance etc. etc. etc. And I'm not sure they want to bite off all that vs maintain FR well and let it go at that.
But given some other sites I sometimes go to--I SURE WOULD APPRECIATE FR'S SOFTWARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD! LOL.

And I've tried repeatedly to get other webmasters interested--I forget how many at present. But it's an uphill task. The entrenchedness of their current software and the expense and hassles of changing--regardless of how good the new--all work against such.

Well, since I don't know where else to voice this, will put it here:
Mandatory posting of which STATE a featured town is in for every news article.
It really bugs me to read and read and read and to not be able to figure out what state they're talking about!!!
