The US will continue expanding the number and quality of contacts between the US military and the military of India. Additional joint military exercises will take place designed to illustrate to the Iranians that they are surrounded. No action will be taken against Iran, other than a few economic sanctions that will be circumvented by the Germans, the French and the Russians.
The Congress will not fund any new border protections unless they do so knowing that the President will veto all funding for the fence and other related security measures.
New elections will remove the elected government for the Palistinians, and they will be replaced with Iranian puppets. Lebanon will continue to struggle with the presence of the Hezbollah in their midst, and no one will come to their assistance.
The Russian government will increase their contacts and economic ties with Iran.
The US will increase its military and diplomatic ties with Kenya.
Turkey will slide away from friendship with the US over the issues of the Kurds and the admission to the EU. This will cause the US to strengthen ties with Hungary and Rumania and most especially, Poland.
Additional food born pathogens will increasingly arise in 2007, with great public concern over the immediate denials from the US government that the diseases were intentionally planted.
The Pope will make a trip to Ethiopia to visit the faithful.
Argentena and Brazil will continue to increase their agricultural outputs.
New legislation will be passed permitting vast increases in the immigration numbers for people from India.
Japan will begin the process of changing their constitution to allow for a standing army for national defense purposes that may be used for more traditional military purposes. The first steps will be to increase their navel pressence in the Western Pacific.
China will increase the size of its naval force in the Pacific, and will begin more significant patrols to the indonesian area waters.
The banking system in Tiawan will collapse and the capital flight will move to Indonesia.
The government of Pakistan will fall, and will be taken over by hard line Isalmist fanatics. They will attempt to impose restructions on the US military and its movement across Pakistan's boundaries to pursue the war in Afganistan. The US and NATO will need to increase their presence in Afghanistan as a result, since the safe havien for terrorists in Pakistan will be expanded. The US may have to intervene in Pakistan to take control of Pakistan's nuclear weapons. India will assist in this and may trigger a new was between Pakistani tribesmen and India.
The US will authorize the increase of two army compat divisions and at least one (maybe two) additional Marine divisions.
