He'll be pronounced "fit as a fiddle" as soon as Disney's Imagineers get his animatronic replacement ready. They've been preoccupied with their Castro model of late.

I was wondering about this very question this morning myself.

I would say in this case that no news is bad news for the Senator. If he were doing well, they would likely announce it.

Continue praying for him and his family.

We will probably see and hear very little about the senator for the next 2 years.

Unless he, himself resigns, or is impeached, or dies, he stays a senator.

Dingy Harry would personally monitor the senator's life support machines just to stay in control.

He's fine.
Being in a coma never prevented a democratic office
holder from doing his job.
We in Illinois are governed by the cast of Night of the
Living Dead.

If Senator Johnson was doing as well as Searchlight Harry claimed .. then he should have been released from the hospital by now

The South Dakota newspaper follows the situation, but you are right, all they have to say is that his condition is unchanged.

The lack of valid and real updates probably makes the odds very high for a poor outcome for the senator.
