You find the real mind control zombies by looking for people with high-tech thingies clipped to their ears. They're cell phone zombies. Knock it off their ear, and they'll thrash around trying to recover it, then go into coma-like state.

They won't bother you if you leave them alone. Start messin' with their accoutrements, however, and you will be assimiliated.
