Well, down here in Texas, on Galveston Island, we feel pretty lucky. We all just left when Rita was coming in! And now our lovely and talented Mayor Lyda Ann is going to teach them all how to do it! Yeah Lyda Ann (Google her and read about it if you didn't hear about our evacuation...that's a whole other story...we've got to get the state folks on board! We had no contraflow lanes + Houston mayor told his people to leave. Our 60K people wouldn't have been a problem otherwise. But at least got off the island!).

BTW, way too much snow for me...had 144 inches in Fairbanks Alaska the last winter we lived there! We're coming to Denver next November; hope it snows a bit while we're there but not a blizzard!
