Boxing Day? --- IIRC, that's tomorrow and it was instituted as a means of allaying the dispute over the correct day to celebrate Christmas?

I always understood the tradition to be one of giving gifts to those who serve you in some way, like the mailman and such as that.

From watching Uptairs Downstair, Boxing Day was set aside for the staff to celebrate, because their services were needed on Christmas Day.

Can you help us out with what Boxing Day is all about. I think it is also St Stephans Day, something about a dead wren in box.
