yes, he was the first Lionel - the one who was on All In The Family and not the wussy Lionel with all the "reltionship problems" from the later episodes of The Jeffersons.

Rest in Peace. I always liked his Lionel the best and I always liked "The Jefferson's" more than 'All in the Family'.
