I must admit Frank Gore's better than Al Gore any day.

Don't run out and buy a Frank Gore for President bumper sticker though.

It's amazing to me that the niner's still have a slim chance at winning the division (although an 8-8 record is nothing to brag about if they reach that). I didn't expect them to beat Seattle the first time, let alone twice. I actually expected then to be no better than 3-13 this year. They've sure surprised me.

On the other hand, I expected Seattle to lock up the division by now. I can't figure out why they are struggling so badly with all the talent your team has. We'll have to watch carefully what happens in the last several weeks of the season.

Hasselbeck isn't fully recovered, for sure. I think if they'd let Matt rest awhile longer and stuck with Wallace, we'd have clinched by now. And Alexander isn't 100%.

But our porous defense has NO excuse!
