For all you fans of American Idol out there ( we had a thread this year that lasted for over 10,000 messages), you might remember Season 3's JENNIFER HUDSON, who was prematurely kicked out in favor of less talented singers.

Well, justice is served. She has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Effie White in the upcoming movie, "Dreamgirls"

The nominations and awards have been coming fast and furious: Jennifer recently named Best Supporting Actress for her Role in "Dreamgirls" by the New York Film Critics Circle. And, she was recently named runner up for the Los Angeles Critics Association's Supporting Actress prize and received the Best Breakthrough Performance honor from the National Board of Review. Additionally, she was named Best Supporting Actress by the Washington D.C. Society of Film Critics.
