Well, that's were being a conservative, if your statement is true relating to being a conservative is not something that I can ever agree with.

Acting out is the only choice, being gay is from birth and wired into the brain. As far a passing on genes, lots of gays get married and have lots of children - if it is about genes - they are passed around all the time.

Have you personally thought this issue through, logically?

Whether or not gays enter into hetersexual unions is a non-issue. Evolutionarily, the gay gene would die out. This is the most fundamental principle of natural selection: the organisms that successfully mate with the strongest partners and produce the strongest offspring will survive.

A "gayness" gene by definition discourages the passing on of the gene. The only reason gays would ever hook up in natural marriages would be to conform to societal expectations. Heterosexuals are not only doing that, they are fulfilling their own desires.
