They are lucky to have had a career longer than the Achy Breaky Heart guy.
Any bets on whether they will reform to play the MTV inauguration ball for the next Democrat President?

I don't think that The Beatles or Jimi Hendrix ever won Grammys.
Brian Wilson won a Grammy for the noisy instrumental track on SMiLE, not any of the lyrics, concepts, ability, recovery, etc.
They are a sham awards program. Based on cliques and not sales or talent.

Gee, I'm guessing their accountant presented them with the final receipts tally of their abortive tour (expenses for which came from the Chix pockets) and disk sales.Ywo years from now we'll hear, "Whatever happened to those um, you know, what were tehy called, "Dixie Cups"?

A few years back they sued their label Sony for back royalties. They ended up settling out of court for $3 million and put in their new contract that they have to pay back ALL promotional costs of the album before any royalties kick in. Considering the amount of money they spent on producing the album (reports say 12 different people had their prints on it, despite the repeated claims the chicks wrote it themselves)and the bragged about PR roll-out...Id say they still owe Sony...Id say they owe them so much, they had to go to Canada to recoup some of the losses that they incurred here! LOL
As for their movie...I read somewhere that it cost 4 million to make...so fare it hasnt even grossed 1 million.
But according to the MSM their comeback has been "triumphant. LOL

Yup, that's what I recalled. And this past tour was the first one in which the Chix had to cover all the tour expenses including promo. Yeah I noticed that big venue in Nova Scotia wasn't doing so hot. LMAO

P.S. I nearly got hooked on MADD TV with the episode of Bobby and another friend trying to help a 3rd friend learn to drive. I nearly lost a lung laughing. All I had to do was remember parts of the episode (the foot from the backseat), and I'd lose it again.
