There's a reason the gang MS-13 uses machetes.
Psychologically it's easier to scare people with a weapon that
can separate a person from one of their limbs with one good swish...
when a pistol might only punch some survivable holes in them.

IIRC, once a disarmament was done in Rwanda...that's when the
thugs brought out their machetes (made in China).

Good point. I've got a real machete made in Honduras. It's not a knife. It's an axe with a 2 and a half foot blade.
