Well, it's about time someone got on Nifong's back about this. The man is totally corrupt, and should be thrown out of office.

That's too bad. David Price should be doing this, but as a Democrat he's not allowed to question Nifong.

As an attorney I am appalled at the misconduct and incompetence from Nifong in this case. That said, I am not sure what a Congressman can do about it. If nothing else there is a bully platform to hammer him from.

Prediction:
The guys accused aren't going to have to finish their studies, they're going to be rich beyond their wildest dreams of success in the business world when their lawyers get done with Nifong and the county.

I don't know at this point if it's a "Federal case" but where is the North Carolina AG? When there is prosecutoral misconduct at the county level, it seems that state officials should be looking into it.

I have often wondered what a citizen could do against a corrupt prosecutor, judge, police officer, etc.

While I completely agree that Nifong is a complete incompetent (at best), I hate to see the Feds brought in for a local/state issue.

Good for Congressman Jones, he is at least trying to do something regarding this fiasco.

Howlin, thanks for the ping. I know there's been no news lately, but the threads have been so inactive that I was afraid people were losing interest or losing heart.
