As for this year, this silly 'committment to the run' crap is killing them. You don't have a tandem like Roy WIlliams and CJ and not use them. That whole run first crap is what killed them against Atlanta. The WRs were up against two of the shortest CBs in the league. And Roy and CJ are two of the tallest WRs. But no. Stick to the run. Those CBs should have been exploited over, and over, and over again. And when the WRs got double/triple coverage, run the damn ball.
There is much wrong with the Lions. And Kitna isn't the only problem. But his part of it as a whole.
This entire team/organization needs to be blown up. I would keep:
1. Roy Williams
2. Calvin Johnson
3. Kevin Smith
4. Drew Stanton
4. Ernie Sims
5. Daniel Bullocks
6. Jordan Dizon
Get rid of everyone else.

It's also maddening when the get into the red zone and, instead of having some one-trick ponies, big behemoths who can bust a hole for a quick run for TD, they're always chuckin' stupid short passes. If the jokers can't get open with the whole field ahead of them, they sure can't get there with the length of the end zone.
