I like seeing that they actually have a conscience about some stuff. Like the Bloody Mary episode. They realized that maybe people had a right to be mad. As opposed to say I don't know The Dixie Chicks who don't think people should get mad at them for saying anything.

They are willing to own what they think. Many today, both inside of politics and out, if they get called on the carpet about something they said, try to play popularity games with what they really meant.

Matt and Trey own what they say, like it or not ;~)

I don't think that the Dixie Chicks lack conscience about what they say, they just don't understand that taking a stand means you might have to defend what you say, and some people might not like you for it.

I think the only difference with Matt and Trey is they're OK with people some people not liking them... they understand it's part of saying something controversial.
