That is absolutely NOT what is being reported; the reporters said that there are a LOT of calls about ALL accidents along that stretch of I-95; that is a very bad stretch of highway; it's out in the rural areas and cars drive like a bat out of hell.
And she most certainly did NOT say there were skid marks from the road to the creek. She said there were skid marks into the swamp, but she did NOT say from the road to the creek or swamp.
Highway patrol says 3 miles is too much to thoroughly investigate.
And she didn't say that either.........why are you doing this?
So I didn't zone out while typing? I didn't hear that either... is surfer listening to someone other than Greta?
Who are you referring to? "She" Are you talking about Greta or the reporter on the street.
The reporter on street stated that they received several calls about a collision on northbound 95. She stated highway patrol stated it was within a 3-4 mile ranges based on the phone calls. She also said at the end of her broadcast that they said 3-4 miles is too much to investigate thoroughly.
What report did you hear?
Do you have some special direct line to the "correct" news or something? Why am I doing this? Because I started the original feed on this because I wanted people to help find these missing people?
Why are you making statements without all the facts? How do you know what I am watching? I have feeds from several news agencies going at once.
I drove that stretch a couple weeks ago coming back here to Richmond from Jacksonville. I don't remember there being much swamp up along the Rocky Mount stretch of I-95, but there are numerous creeks that cut through the area. Maybe there was swamp there and I was too busy dodging morons to notice it.
It's not exactly remote, but there ain't a hell of a lot out there between exits, for sure. Rocky Mount itself is a ways off 95, of course, and if I remember that area between exits 138 and 141 correctly, it's three solid miles of nothing but trees and road signs.
