Are you sure that you can't see the tire tracks leaving the road down the embankment?
Based on one of the news reports last night (video) you can clearly see the tracks leading away from the road.
Also the pilot made the comment in an interview on CNN that he arrived at the area the same time LE was stopping "probably seeing the skid marks leading off the side of the road."
So I asked if anyone has a photo of the skidmarks...seems like a logical and reasonable request...unless of course you don't want people to understand how it is possible for them not to see the tracks last week...a simple photo could clear up that issue.
Here's a suggestion--Take a road trip up north, and take photo's. We're holding our breath waiting to see them. We'll wait for you.....
That's because he didn't know that an hour earlier the highway employee had found the tracks and called the Highway Patrol.
""Shane Duffy, the chief pilot with Executive Helicopters, said he was circling the swamp - about eight miles north of the Rocky Mount, N.C., airport - and spotted the car at about the same time police arrived at 4:30 p.m. He said he saw tire tracks that looked like a car had slid sideways off the east side of the highway into a 20-foot-wide creek just before a small bridge. "Exactly how or why would just be a shot in the dark," Duffy said. "
FINE! Everybody and their dog saw the skid marks, except LE, who just chose to ignore them because they don't like people from South Carolina. There!
