There is a report of a 911 call at 7:30am last Thursday of a collision at the location where the car was found. Highway Patrol said they went to the location and could not find any debris or collision.
Strange how Stone thinks it is odd that no one saw it sooner - that must be implying there is a fair amount of evidence that was a crash.
I wonder how detailed of a search they did when they first responded. Also says they weren't wearing their seatbelts - we will have to see - they may have taken them off while trying to get out.
It says it appears that they tapped their breaks before leaving the road - I wonder how they know that - "skid mark on pavement". It would indicate a defensive move to avoid something or that they cancelled cruise control.
Such a tragedy for this family at this time of year.
Link to that report?
The pilot from Executive Helicopters said the car had a sunroof. I wonder if they tried to escape that way? I was under the impression the roof of the car was under about a foot of water?
