Found in a NC swamp. No foul play...believe to be an auto accident. Prayers for their family. They looked like a loving, happy couple.
I saw that, at least they found them, according to Dr. Baden there is a lot they don't find for decades.
The day before he left, he told his son or neighbor that he was going to take his other car because he was having problems with this car (the white car) and I swear it was something about a tire.
But, what with?
Skid marks going off the road into the creek. Typically if you fall asleep at the wheel you will wake up as you go off the road and you won't have much time for slamming on the breaks within your lane.
It looks like they were hit either by a deer or a vehicle and lost control.
So I didn't zone out while typing? I didn't hear that either... is surfer listening to someone other than Greta?
From WRAL:
A state employee doing work along the highway Monday spotted some luggage floating in the creek. When he went for a closer look, he found the car submerged, authorities said.
She also said her uncle and brother found them and that is not what is being reported here.
Thank God the luggage floated.
"...said the vehicle apparently ran off the road, hit a tree and landed in a creek."
Agan from WRAL; that accounts for the skid marks into the swamp.
Who are you referring to? "She" Are you talking about Greta or the reporter on the street.
The reporter on street stated that they received several calls about a collision on northbound 95. She stated highway patrol stated it was within a 3-4 mile ranges based on the phone calls. She also said at the end of her broadcast that they said 3-4 miles is too much to investigate thoroughly.
What report did you hear?
The CHP is 3,000 miles away...
I watched a report from a reporter on the scene in NC. Not Greta.
It wouldn't have made any difference to the missing couple after 10 minutes.
IF the 911 call was from somebody that saw the car leave the highway.....they evidently didn't hang around to direct the sheriff or rescue. I don't understand that at all.

She did NOT; she said that that area ALWAYS has accidents where people call in and say there's an accident near Rocky Mount and that THAT is a three to four mile distance and so it's hard to figure out where people are talking about.
They got ONE call........which is exactly what the WRAL reporter said.
From the WRAL report:
Last week, Nash County 911 Communications had notified the Highway Patrol of a traffic collision near the location where the vehicle was recovered, but emergency personnel were never able to locate a collision at the location or see any debris, the Highway Patrol said.
"A lot of times, these accidents are given out on I-95 in the northbound lane, and it could be a three- or four-mile stretch," Stone said.
BTW, there was NO collision; it was a single car accident.
Me either; may have been a trucker, flying through.
I wondered since it didn't compute with what I thought I heard and thought I just missed it.
Do you have some special direct line to the "correct" news or something? Why am I doing this? Because I started the original feed on this because I wanted people to help find these missing people?
Why are you making statements without all the facts? How do you know what I am watching? I have feeds from several news agencies going at once.
~LOL~ I've lived in AZ for 13 years and still think in terms of CHP.... sorry about that.
Lots of damage to the left front of the car.
