Found in a NC swamp. No foul play...believe to be an auto accident. Prayers for their family. They looked like a loving, happy couple.

A transcript of the interview with the helicopter pilot is on cnn.com. He was on Nancy Grace last night.

Nice to see you finally admitted you did state that the pilot was your source. So I will ask one more question on this.

Did you speak directly to the pilot that you quoted?

Yes, Howlin - I saw the post and made the same interpretation.

So, could we please move on and make suggestions as to how some of the senior snowbirders traveling the length of I95 arrange "buddy convoys" of at least three vehicles so that there is always help available in the darkest hours of winter driving.

I95 traffic is often very light during some hours and this type of mishap will continue to go unnoticed and unreported until a similar tragedy occurs.

Thank you for your courtesies
sp

Oh, she's REAL reliable, isn't she..........LOL.

Thanks.

Now joining us by phone, Shane Duffy, the chief pilot with Executive Helicopters, privately retained to lead the search. He spotted the Guays` car.

Mr. Duffy, thank you for being with us. What happened?

SHANE DUFFY, CHIEF PILOT, EXECUTIVE HELICOPTERS: You`re welcome. We were contacted by the Guays yesterday evening, and they asked if we could possibly do them the favor of doing a search for them. And we immediately got into action trying to, you know, help as best we could. Obviously, it`s a grave situation.

GRACE: How did you spot the car?

DUFFY: I`m not sure that we can actually take full credit for spotting the car. At the same time that we arrived searching the area, a state trooper also pulled up, obviously probably seeing the skid marks leading off the side of the road.

GRACE: So there were skid marks?

DUFFY: There weren`t any black marks on the asphalt, but from the air it was visible, tire tracks leaving the road surface going into the swampy area, yes, ma`am.

GRACE: And what did you see?

DUFFY: It was hard to make out at first. We orbited around the area, and we could just see the top of what looked like a white vehicle in the water. Obviously, you know, we have a hard time seeing that. It`s really dark water, and we were about 700 feet off the ground at the time.

GRACE: So it wasn`t totally submerged?

DUFFY: It was totally submerged, but it was just deep enough that you wouldn`t have been able to see it from the road, but looking directly down on it, we could actually see what looked like the roof of a car, with a sunroof, which is what we were mainly looking for, a white car with a sunroof.

You are a complete idiot; I just posted his INTERVIEW, which, if you had taken the time to do any research at ALL, you would have found.

And here's another one for you:

"Shane Duffy, the chief pilot with Executive Helicopters, said he was circling the swamp - about eight miles north of the Rocky Mount, N.C., airport - and spotted the car at about the same time police arrived at 4:30 p.m. He said he saw tire tracks that looked like a car had slid sideways off the east side of the highway into a 20-foot-wide creek just before a small bridge. "Exactly how or why would just be a shot in the dark," Duffy said. "

RIGHT HERE........and note it was posted YESTERDAY

I can't wait to see you argue with the pilot!!!

Guess some of us out here weren't the only that heard the helicopter had found the car. Even Nancy Grace with all of your resources thought so too. Good to get the information.

It also speaks to how easily the trooper possibly saw the tire tracks from his car. This goes back to last Thursday and how it could be possible that EMS or LE did not see these tracks.

Nancy Grace hasn't been right about anything in years. She's nothing more than a gossip monger.

I know - I just meant the part about the worker investigating hadn't been stated that way, that I ever saw, but I haven't seen every last clip.

I am not arguing about the pilot. I am arguing with you. You make statements and then pretend you don't make them. You like to call people all kinds of names, etc...

Fact is: You stated in post 321 that the pilot was your source. That isn't nitpicking...you deliberately wrote that post. You still haven't answered the question.

Did you speak to the pilot directly?

If not, I hardly see how you can claim the pilot was your source. You are the one that is constantly claiming you have the most accurate information and everyone else must be confused or wrong.

I only said that because YOU said I had "sources."

And the pilot WAS the source of my facts because I had actually SEEN what he said, something you don't seem to bother with.

Since the DOT worker had found the luggage in the creek, I imagine *that* is how the rest of those people came upon the scene.

I was merely passing along that you had local source that probably have better information than others. That was not intended in any way to be slight...but a relevant fact that should be told.

Don't say I put words in your mouth. You made a mistake...no big deal. I just wanted to make sure that I understood that you did or didn't speak to the pilot.

No...You are just being a smart-ass. You knew exactly what she meant, and you should just go away. IMHO!

Yeah that scenario makes the most sense. I still wonder why they could'nt see the tire marks from the road.

Howlin since you are there you really should take a drive by and see how hard it is to see the tire tracks from your car or even take a picture and post it.

I didn't make a mistake because I never said I had a source; I told you last night I was listening to local reporters who are ON THE SCENE; that was right before you told me how the NY reports were better because we were so "limited" in our coverage.

Are you serious?

Are you some kind of death junky?

They were going down an embankment. The road is at the top of the embankment. You can't see over the edge from the shoulder.

I'm still confused about the "divider" that they went over or crashed through - according to all this, they were still on the northbound side of I-95.

What kind of divider would it be, do you know?
