Found in a NC swamp. No foul play...believe to be an auto accident. Prayers for their family. They looked like a loving, happy couple.

How can someone be wrong when they relay the news points that have been coming out for hours?

You watch one segment on one show and you think you have all the answers.

You then go ahead make statements of "facts" that are merely your opinions - i.e. you first stated it was a single car accident and not a collision. Then when that was brought you never answer it...but then in another post you corrected yourself and said "you think it was a single car accident".

And the whole time you missed the point about reporting a data point - news was reported over five hours ago that 911 contacted highway patrol about a collision at the location where the vehicle was found.

The word collision means something and we will see specifically what that means once this is analyzed.

Are you talking about the off-topic posts or all of your posts?

Uhhhhh, that should have been:

Raygun will say the husband drove off the road because he was "sick of listening to his wife tell him how to drive"

Who listens?

I posted the link from the reporter on the scene; you completely misrepresented what she said.

BTW, the Highway Patrol said that they ran off the road, hit a tree and went into the creek; it was right there in the REPORT, if you had read it.

Look, you were wrong and you got called on it; I wasn't the only one who heard what she said; now you're acting like a spoiled whiney brat.

Yup -- it is almost to the point where we should start placing bets as to when the first blame-the-victim post will appear.

"Why don't they ask Bray where Hoffa is...he must know!" LOL! Of course, if he were Hoffa, he would have had a jack hammer in his pocket for those times when his feet get stuck in cement shoes. I hate it when that happens, don't you?

I just found the WRAL news feed you were talking about. That has nothing to do with what I was watching. I thought you said you were watching Greta?

http://www.wral.com/video/10513802/detail.html

Here is the link and there are several clear shots of the car and the damage.

I don't see how Highway Patrol did not see those skid marks...

That is my local station; I quoted from it on this very thread; did you not read my posts?

Did you not hear the State Patrol say there was NO debris at the sight?

Did you not hear her say that the car ran off the road -- and the trooper said they went sideways into the creek and SUBMERGED?

Read the ARTICLE; a road worker saw luggage floating in the creek and called the Highway Patrol. They were found by the NC Highway Patrol.

And I was watching Greta; she had Sloane Heffernon on and several other people. Not one of them said there was more than ONE CALL.

Now we all know that guys lack the gene for getting or reading directions of any sort, so you're right, there is probably no listening going on.

I'll bet any married woman will agree that most men are incapable of understanding the most basic of instructions on how to operate a washing machine. They don't get the part about sorting the clothes, putting in one load at a time, and not frying the clothes in the dryer after they've shrunk them and dyed them pink in the washer.

Sorry Howlin - I was posting a summary for someone who was late to joining the thread. I didn't read all the posts since I had last posted. I was catching information from multiple sources.

There is even a new report tonight where the family is claiming it was their helicopter search that found the car.

A family member also said the car went through a divider and then hit a tree and ended up in the creek submerged under two feet of water.

There is no way a decent search of the area would not have turned up those skid marks especially after a 911 call. The 911 details are coming soon...so they say but they have released the specific time of the call it was at 7:30am.

As far as the other calls - I heard only one 911 call was made but other calls were made to the police inquiring about the accident. In addition the family called NC highway patrol on Thursday (or it could have been Friday) and inquired specifically if there had been any reports or calls of an accident on I95 and they were told there weren't any.

Hate to break it to you...the old ruining the clothes in the washer and dryer routine...well that is on purpose - so men don't have to do it. It has been handed down since very early times - the Chinese started it I think...isn't that why they call it an ancient chinese secret?

That is not true.

but other calls were made to the police inquiring about the accident.

Nobody up HERE where the accident happened is reporting that.

In addition the family called NC highway patrol on Thursday (or it could have been Friday) and inquired specifically if there had been any reports or calls of an accident on I95 and they were told there weren't any.

And? At that time there were NO accidents; and how in the hell do you know they specifically asked if there had been any reports of accidents; I heard them say that they had called and reported them missing, nothing more.

There is no way a decent search of the area would not have turned up those skid marks especially after a 911 call.

So you have changed your position on that now, is that right?

Because this is what you said at 8:30 tonight:

I have been on that stretch of road several times. Anybody that is familiar with the area knows you would have to search the swamps for any type of accident that wasn't directly on the road.

Cars go off those stretches of highway all the time.

Why wasn't the person who reported it called back?

For the third or fourth time, what ARE you sources? How about some links? The rest of us are providing them; got some?

The big question is. Why didn't the South Carolina local and State Police act more quickly? Why did it take the NYPD to coerce the NCSP into starting a search and get the FBI involved?

Howlin,

What are you talking about? I stand by what I said at 8:30pm.

I just relayed some new news from Channel 7 in NYC when they just interviewed the family at 11pm. Do you think news only happens on Fox and when Greta is reporting it?

Everything I have said is true - from the perspective of it being reported by different news agencies. That is the whole point of FR take in all the data and analyze it.

What is wrong with what I said at 8:30pm? Anyone who has driven the stretch on 95 through the Carolinas knows what I am saying it accurate - especially northbound. Most of the road has no guardrails and is elevated. If you go off the road you are in a swamp, creek or the wood if there aren't any residentials areas near by.

I heard local interviews over the last two days of people making that exact statement - yeah people drive off the road all the time up here. Truck drivers fall asleep a lot.

These are the types of things that are being reported out there. Just because you haven't seen or heard it - doesn't mean it isn't so. You should live in Missouri my friend.

How about 3 to 4 hours more likely than 2 to 3 hours.

But then you say that anybody who drove up there should have seen them.

It's just confusing.
