If you dont think your children are old enough to see it, don't show it to them. I don't think an artistic painting of a naked person is going to hurt anyone. The human body is a beautiful glorious thing. Artistically rendered, even more beautiful. I don't suppose you ever took an art appreciation class or have gone to a good museum without blushing?

OH MY GOD...WE MUSN'T BE NAKED!!!!
The body is shameful, right?
Geez, lady, lighten up. The physical form is a beautiful thing, and appreciating it in the form of art is not sexual nor is it immodest.

what about their children and their children's FRIENDS,and others and then their grandchildren seeing them nude? I teach my children that their bodies are nothing to be ashamed of, and I have several paintings in my house that have nudes in them, both male and female.
AND my children have all seen me naked, whether it was changing my clothes or getting out of the shower. I do not run and hide from them if they happen to wander into my room.
Why is it that children are taught to be embarrassed about their bodies?
And no, I am not speaking about being a whore or walking around dressed like Paris Hilton. I am trying to express to you that the human body is beautiful, and children should be taught that from an early age.
