[Rightly Biased]

I like the old names for my three girls I chose;

Katherine Isabella: Katie for short (I call here Ella)

Margaret Haley: Maggie for short

And My wife chose this one.

Bethany Grace: The fam calls her Beth but I call her Grace.

My daughter's name is Ceceilia Marie. I actually regret changing the spelling in homage to her maternal grandmother. Poor girl is going to spend the rest of her life spelling out her first name.

My daughter is a Katie too. The new Kathryn is now "Caitlyn". I think it is a Gaelic version. We have encountered countless Caitlyns over the years.

Another think that irked me about this survey is the idea that people name kids after hollywood celebrities. My Ricky and Katie were names after family members to honor their memory. Guess I should have gone with Erica and Brock to honor my old soap opera instead.
