It's not a happy ending but if there is any good news in this story it is that there was no foul play involved.

Yes. . .relieved that it was not by another's hand. . .that it was an accident. But tragic and so very sad for this couple and their families.
(It is strange, in a way; how we get caught up. . .they pop into our lives through news bulletins on our TV screens and if we identify with them; they stay with us. . .in this case; they just seemed to be such nice people and with a great family. . .and not deserving of such a brutal and untimely end.)
