Haven't seen it. Has anyone ever said that Tarentino was nuts?

My 18yo daughter saw it last night. She really liked it, gave it 4 stars out of 5. She goes to all of the movies, like most of her generation, so she doesn't hand out high marks like that very much. It doesn't really appeal to me right now, but maybe I'll see it when it comes out on DVD.

I think he's nuts, too.
Technical expertise doesn't prove sanity. Neither does artistic skill.
Tarantino I have always thought disturbed. I just haven't seen his name in a story lately, while Gibson's came up this week.
Both men are exhibiting an unhealthy obsession with violence, as far as I am concerned. I realize a lot of people don't agree with me, and that's ok.
Mark my words, though. Gibson one day will act so nutty even his staunchest defenders will finally realize that he's gone round the bend.

I saw it yesterday...for $5. (real estate dead this time of year)
It was a terrific film.
Mel Gibson has tapped into a money making genre.
Braveheart, Passion, Apocalypto has made him a very rich man.
All that creativity would make a normal man drink, IMO.

To my knowledge -- only his Psychiatrist.
Don't get me wrong, I love his movies. From Reservoir Dogs to Kill Bill I & II. Heck I must have seen both Kill Bill's 20 times each. And Pulp Fiction a 'gazillion' times.
IMO the guy is a near genius, but I don't think his elevator goes all the way up. ;-)

As far as I know, Tarentino hasn't gone gone on a drunken rant against Jews.

Although Tarantino's movie are violent you rarely actually see the violence. It happens just off screen. In Gibson's movies he has a fetish for showing the violwnce.
