For somebody like Bette Midler, who's career began and flourished back when it took considerable talent and a whole lot of honest work to really "make it big", it must be especially galling.

That some little tart that isn't even 20 and doesn't have a fraction of the ~ability~ can still be a "star"... that's gotta burn, if even a little.

She's still a Bush-bashing moonbat.

There is something seriously wrong with our society and the entertainment community. There is NO reason that any of these three no-talents should get the attention from the media that they get. And there is no reason why the public should be concerned about any of them.

And yet this has been the number one story on all of the networks and internet news sites day after day after day. Meanwhile, the press can't find time to cover a Medal of Honor winner from the Iraqi war.

The culture is seriously damaged, and until somehow we can get a change in direction, I am really despondent about this country.

Bette, "I started my life out as pretty wild but I have decided, after much growing and living, that it's time that we got nicer."

She WAS WILD!!!

She has the benefit of age to alter her perspective.

At the speed these girls are apparently going, I wonder if they will even reach the age of wisdom.
