Beautiful lace!

I started socks this past summer. I found some cool yarn, "sockotta", it automatically makes stripes. But, I developed something called ulnar nerve entrapment, so my pinky and ring finger on my left hand is all tingly. It's like carpel tunnel, only with your 'funny bone' nerve and not your thumb, pointy and middle fingers. It probably happened from watching a 70 pound puppy for 3 months (having her pull my arm out of my socket on walks until I bought one of those spike collars, which really works, if you use it properly). So, I've put my knitting on hold, and it does seem to be improving. I did get three pairs finished though. This pattern is simple as pie and I can make a pair in a couple days.

I also made baby bumpers, crib sheets and a matching bassinet skirt and bassinet sheets for my grandbaby. Also, another daughter is expecting her first next June! And I helped my SIL make a tree skirt. I'm really proud of her, she's never sewn before and did a really good job!

KAC, I'm happy you started this!

Here's a picture of some completed socks. (I have the first four colors and a couple other colors not shown) Another sil who knits made a copy of this pattern for me, it was one of those free tear off patterns at a yarn shop.
