Just from what you see in this article it sounds like Timothy Cerny is the biggest troublemaker in this dispute, but I really don't understand why the Elliots don't just move.

I realize there is a principle at stake that you don't want to be run out of your home, but I'd put my family's safety first and just move. It's also just not worth the aggravation when there are plenty of beautiful homes that aren't next door to a nutcase.

We have neighbors like that. They recently got caught poisoning the neighborhood pets. Both neighbors ... a married couple are .... prison guards The DA DROPPED the felony charges against them even though multiple witnesses including my wife and I heard them ADMIT to the crime to the ANIMAL CONTROL officer
