To: My Favorite Headache; patton
our neighborhood had christmas caroling last year.
it was wonderful! they went to door to door to every
house singing all the traditional favorites and even
asked for requests. the crowd ended at the house
across the street for cocoa and cookies. :)

i forgot to add...our school is having a celebrations around
the world night in 2 weeks. seasonal celebrations, including;
christmas, hanukkah, kwanzaa, eid, st nicholas day, las posadas,
and santa lucia day will all be celebrated. each celebration will
have it's own classroom displayed with information, games,
food, music, etc. it's a great way to showcase all of these
holidays.

Yes, but then again, it's a private Christian school.

My kids are having a Christmas Concert, all with traditional music. Of course, they attend a Christian school which explains it.
