I love that area. It's an interesting irony that a place so empty can be so full of beauty. Speaking of that the res, I made a new friend during my after-hours shopping: a sweet little ol' gal of a shop keeper and her husband who had relocated to Las Cruces to be near grand kids from Zuni. I love the West - I prolly have more acquaintences there from my travels there than I do here.
