Air tools are just cool. Growing up on CG cutters as I did, all of our tools were air tools. On navy and cg ships there's air outlets everywhere on the boat to plug in air tools. Makes sense, inasmuch as air tools don't ground out and then deliver nasty shocks when used in or near water. Makes sense, in that context especially.

I have a doctor's appt with a new physician in a couple of weeks...a check-up that's long over-due. I need to find out when I had that really bad migraine. It was a really bad one, I lost the vision in my right eye. I remember the light switch that had two switches looked like it only had one and that was odd! And all my L's in my typing came out as l's. Then my vision began to shimmer and I was chatting about it in the Hole.
Could you find that conversation for me? The doc might want to know when that happened.

Cousins? Well, heck... my ancestors were vikings... and we all know how they were fairly indescriminate about who where and how often they deposited progeny 'round the known world. Those vikings... they were a... uh... vigorous bunch.

We usually only watch the first round... more interested in the bad ones than the good ones :~)

Really? I always skip the early ones cause I can't stand those stupid people who just want to make fools of themselves on tv. I love Idol. It reminds me of the variety and entertainment shows that were on when I was a kid, but with VOTING! So much fun!

Yes... That's my Bay - we have a couple horses and a pony here. :~) Have you horses?
Yeah, but after seeing yours lunge without a rope and change gaits to your voice I'm ashamed to admit it. We actually have six horses on the place right now, but two of them are retired and two belong to my brother-in-law. We rescued three PMU horses three years ago, two yearlings and a mare who have us a wonderful colt. We are actually looking for a trainer right now. But man, I want to know how you taught Bay to do that. That's fabulous. Do you show him?

26! No way. He looks so good. I have a 24 year old quarter horse gelding who couldn't move like that to save his life. He's skinny and cranky and has his teeth ground down so he's on senior feed, but we love him. He was the kids horse and put up with a lot over the years. A well trained horse is such a joy. What is Bay's breed?
He's Arab... but a big one for his breed.
He's a very special horse to me... and he's doing pretty good, hoping to have another really good trail riding season with him this year. He's slowed down... He's had some symptoms here and there that he's getting old, he's being treated for Navicular, so it's especially good for me to see him still moving really well.
That's actually how I ended up free lunging him that day as an experiment. When he's loose in the pasture, he moves really freely and you can tell he feels great. When I put the line on him, he had a slight limp and didn't look as good. So I turned him loose. Immediately better... Hmmm.... Part of it is that close circling is hard on a Navicular horse... and part of it is he's got my number and knows how to get out of work! ;~)
