That's a lot of rescues; sounds like your shire is getting your share of this ~ weather ~ as well.
Figures, just got the vehicles all deiced and cleaned off. We're thinking tarps on the windshields.
It's the least I could do.
Giving theshow a pass today, hunnert miles round trip, no sense pushing the luck on optional trips.
I decided against scraping off the driveway...not going out until Monday morning anyway.
You don't get MLK day off either?
Nope. Next day off is Good Friday.
You know...a good ice storm would keep the "land sharks" away from the door...

Heh, our next one is Memorial Day; however we have two personal days that we can use at anytime.
Ah - well thunderstorms can be plenty exciting. Take care! Batten down your hatches!
Well, that's true but 2002 was enough ice for us; we got the T-Shirt etc.
So far so good, we're waiting for round two; folks to south of us got lots more weather than we did.
How are the TV horses?
I think my down slippers have sprung a leak....little white feathers all over the place.
Okay....we've got ice comin' down.
We still have power...haven't lost it. Waiting for Round 2 of the three storms we're expecting...it's just to our southwest.
We just had one big branch break and hit the the corner of our house. Just now. In the tree with the fort.
I'm going out to assess for any damage. Steve is already checking it out.
I'll check in when I can...but for now we're good.
Don't forget the camera!
