As a man, I prefer manly cats...short dense hair, deep meow voice, fools around a lot, long face--not that pushed in Pug face...you know, a GUY'S cat.

Any men concur?

Yup, me too. Before my mother died, we had a big male orange tabby. He was Mr. Toughguy in the neighborhood. He actually killed an oppossum that had taken up residence under our porch, and pulled it out. But when he was around my mother, he was "mommie's little boy." He acted like a kitten around her, and was SO affectionate to her. He was very much her baby. I've got photos of when my mother was taking her chemotherapy where she was in her reclining chair, and he'd climb up in her lap, put one paw on either side of her neck, and bury his head under her chin, nuzzling her, and just go to sleep there. When she died, he pined and cried, stopped eating, and eventually ran away.

He was a cool, beautiful cat, and I miss him.

Mark
