Yep. Nothing new here.


A kid where I work, well he was 21 so he was only a kid to grown up like me maybe, left work after his second shift stint and the same thing happened to him. He was doing 100mph and a truck pulled out in front of him. It was the very first bike he ever owned and it was a serious crotch-rocket. He left behind a new wife and infant child.

Sad.

Sad.

At least the guy in your story didn't take some innocent motorist with him -- that would have been more sad.

When they were building the new I-40 bypass near Winston-Salem NC, the crotch-rockets would run on the closed road at night. To avoid detection, some ran without lights. Until one hit a road grader at 100mph+. No brake marks. What a mess.
