She isn't bad, but the problem is that this is the Fall-Winter of Rachel Ray and that she has been pushed to the moon by the people who make those decisions. In 30 minute clips on Food Network, she is fine. When she has 4 or 5 shows on Food Network, that's too much. When she is on a couple of networks, several times a day, as well as on magazine racks and on boxes of crackers, her presence is ubiquitous and annoying.

Emeril is cool until they tried a similar, but less ambitious promotion of him as a personality. That failed, too. A little Emeril is good. A lot of Emeril and well, BAM! :-)

I think the best personality on Food Network is Alton Brown, personally. My fave chefs are Giada, Mario Batali, Alton Brown, Michael Chiarello. Truth is, I like almost all their shows and personalities - it's one of the best channels on tv.

Rachel, PLEASE tie your hair back. I'd be so afraid to find long hair in any dish she prepared.

For some reason, the people on the food network who get popular have a tendency to get majorly over exposed. I used to love Emeril, now I'm sick of him. Rachael Ray is rapidly approaching that point as well. She has what...4 or 5 shows on the food network, plus a talkshow, and now has her name plastered on everything from crackers to pots and pans. Ugh.

I don't like her but I think that is terrible to have a web site like that. It is vicious and cruel. Some people are just jealous of her success.

I like her too, I just find her a little tooo happy sometimes for like early in the morning. Don't know why, but just a feeling.

I like Rachel. She is very perky and enjoys her food. She may not be the greatest chef in the world but neither am I! Hope the husband trouble settles down for her.

This thread is useless without pics.
