This is just sad. These kids probably think their behavior is hip or cool, but that level of decadence is extremely harmful. It will corrupt the rest of their lives. And it has already corrupted Columbia. I used to think Columbia was a great university. Now, I think of it as a big joke.
I don't know what Millee tried to post, but I posted this to illustrate (a) the hypocrisy of Ivy League officials who censor religion and conservative thought and allow this; (b) the sad state of affairs at American Universities in general.
It wasn't posted for purient purposes.
I'm a little perturbed, however, that the Moderator du jour decided that a thread about the perversity that plagues higher ed wasn't worthy of "news" and moved it to "general chat," thereby giving the article a sheen of irrelevancy that wasn't intended by my post.
Sorry, off subject but you get out what you put in during your college years. If this article is to shock and awe..(covers my mouth with a yawn).....every campus has its freaks which are in the minority.

If you think that this so called club rules at Columbia, the readers are being duped!..Of course this is ludicrous to even believe as such. The story is garbage!

While their parents shell out $33,246 a year in tuition, Columbia University students doff their clothes at naked parties, flock to sex toys workshops, broadcast porn on campus TV, bake anatomically correct pies for the "Erotic Cake-Baking Contest" and heat up the steps of the Low Library in a mass makeout session called the "Big Kiss."
Not to mention that Columbia is also the home of some of the most rabidly anti-Israel and anti-semitic nutters in academia, which is saying something. Sounds like a regular Sodom-and-Gomorrah on the Hudson!
Not really surprising to anyone who has paid even casual attention to the college/university scene.
Think about it. Living their sexual fantasys so early in life sets them up for some really jaded years later on, ya' know?
Some things are best reserved for later on.... :)

We X'ers are slowly but surely getting American back to where it belongs. The Generation after X'ers are certainly trying to emulate the Boomers though....Sad!!! They could be better off emulating the X'ers who were much more dignified and conservative more so.
