TCU has really put it together late in the year. From the two Frog games I've seen this year--against us and Baylor--they struggled offensively.
By the way interesting article on Rutgers especially and how much money they put into their program the last few years.
But I found this interesting as to Revenue Surpluses as to schools
"Michigan had the largest reported surplus among the top 10 at $34 million, followed by LSU ($25.4), Notre Dame ($24.6), Florida ($24.1) and Ohio State ($22.2) in 2004-05.
The reported surpluses often do not include new facility costs and debt."

Larry Coker has been fired by Miami. The press conference is on ESPN at this time.
Lots of great football on today.

yeah....that attendance is pathetic
Interesting.
I caught Coker's post-game interview on ESPN.
He seemed to think that he'd be coaching next year.
I've never been a big Miami fan but if they do get a bowl game, I hope they'll let Coker coach it.
He answered that question, but I was on the phone and missed it.

I never bet with money I'm not willing to lose ;)
However, until JaMarcus Russell wins a big game without a mistake, you have to go with history.
All times are EST. Don't want folks tuning in late!
Not only am I forced to be Notre Dame fan for several hours, but now I have to be tortured by listening to Brent Mussburger?
Oh, the humanity!!!!
Oh dear, I didn't notice that until you pointed it out.
USC is going to have to win by 28 points in order for me to overcome the pain of the announcers.
Mussburger is the one who revealed the hand signals Booty was using to audibilize at the line of scrimmage earlier this year. I still want to punch him in the nose for that.
That happens ya know :)
well hey you DO get to listen to Herbie :)
I hope the football gods forgive if I say that the Perdue/Hawaii game just starts entirely too late for me to stay up for.
Yeah me too....
That could be one of those playstation type games....
It seems to me, just watching the Larry Coker press conference, he seems relieved....
We see McFadden pointing out the keys to victory today: (1) Dominate in the running game (2) Limit Casey Dick to safe throws (3) Mix in a trick play or two at just the right time, (4) Flush Russell out of the pocket(blitz if required) and force at least two turnovers. (5) Lastly keep the LR crowd in the game. This is a pretty young team and they feed on emotion.
I think that LSU has slightly better overall talent on paper but perhaps not the best team. We'll see.
