I was up to Oregon a few years ago to visit an old-timer I knew, he had a 1940 Ford Tractor. We drove it around his spread, I even got my wife to drive it.
He told me about the time when he was a teenager his friend and he drove it 15 miles to a drive-in movie theater, and when they got there they wouldn't let him in. They argued and argued and finally they were admitted.
LOL
America at her best:')
reminds me of Alvin Straight in The Straight Story.
LOLOL.....oh I would have loved to drive up behind one of those guys.
Well, a guy I work with got in trouble for using a forklift to pick up the lunch order from Taco Bell.
<cough>narc</cough>
OMG. If I saw that I would still be laughing. Just the idea of seeing a zamboni in the Burger King drive-thru is cracking me up!
Hell yeah, given the opportunity, i'd do it too!
Agreed!! Better than Jared for Subway IMHO. Ads would be a hoot.
Sporklift.
I have been to that ice rink and burger king many times. If I was the zamboni driver, I am sure I would have tried the quick trip also. It can't be much for than .5 to .75 miles. The bad thing is everything is right off the freeway and there is a fairly large amount of traffic, but 12:30 it should have been pretty dead. The ice rink is located in a discount strip mall. To get to the burger king one has to exit the mall parking lot and then go through one light controlled intersection.
Man how I miss Boise. My bother and I used to stop at that gas station / burger king whenever we left Boise on the drive to our home in Mountain Home. When I go home for Chirstmas I will look upon the ice rink and burger king and smile
LOL!, O.K.....I would, just ONCE......after lining up another Job :)
