Funny story. I have two Jack Russells, Lincoln and Polk. Polk is a 12lb fluff ball who translates every command to "toy". She's lovable and afraid of anything bigger than she - just about everything. Nevertheless, she feels the need to protect me from the two rottweilers who live in the next yard. There is a 6 ft fence, so Polk has never seen the dogs, except in silhouette, but she hates them. She snarls, barks and digs to try to get them. It's the strangest thing to see little Polk get defensive, especially against two enormous, mean (sounding) dogs.

She wouldn't be so brave if she could see them.

My wife and I miss the rambunctious but oh so gentle little scamp.
