Until when? Missouri outlawed slavery in January 1865. Where were they between then and December?

Thanks for the offer, but it was late in Israel, and I went to bed. I have to leave off the dicussion, since it really never goes anywhere. The reasons and divisions that divided the nation 140 years ago and no closer to being resolved and the passions that ruled then still rule now.
