How could I forget Texas. How could I forget Hood's Texans and the wonderful stand they made in the cornfield at Antietam.

I believe that the preferred rebel term for the battle is Sharpsburg. Keep calling it Antietam and they'll drum you out.

I know his intent...calling it Sharpsburg or Antietam doesn't take away from the battle's importance.
