BOTHELL Fullback Luke Jones scored on a 10-yard run, to end a nine-overtime game that was the longest in Washington high-school football history and is believed to have tied the national record.
Bothell's 43-40 victory Saturday over Pasco at Pop Keeney Stadium in the quarterfinal round of the Class 4A playoffs, puts the Cougars (11-1) in the semifinals at the Tacoma Dome next weekend.

To all- if you haven't experienced HS football, you haven't experienced football. Man, I'm gonna miss those fantastic friday nights- all over America, in every small town, under small stadium lights the real game is played.

I graduated from Pasco High in the 1970s, back when there were only 3 high schools in the area, and high school sports were big. (Yes, we did have football way back then, but I believe they used leather helmets ;-p )
